Hello I was just wondering what would happen (if anything) or would there be any consequences for missing my return flight back to the UK from California as I would like to stay longer?

  1. As long as you don’t overstay your visa waiver, which is 90 days for British citizens (assuming that’s also your citizenship) it’s fine. But you’ll have to book a new one way ticket back which will likely be almost the same price you paid for a return as one-ways tend to be more expensive.

You should also look into getting your travel medical insurance extended as you don’t want to be without that in the US.

      1. Just make sure to sort out onward travel when you fly into Thailand as they won’t let you board with just a one-way ticket.
