1. St Catherine is gigantic, it’s not “the gay street” per say, it’s just this section of it. In downtown it’s the shopping street, in other places it’s covered in bars.

        1. Yeah definitely! I was more referring to the commenter above, who made it seem like st caths was exclusively the gay village.

  1. Nice to see my hometown here. Such a lovely place to stroll in summer, and it’s been great that in the past few years it’s pedestrian only until September.

  2. I love Montréal (especially the food) – but I always get this weird feeling I’m in a 1980s – 90s time warp when I go there. Maybe its the Bell telephone booths on almost every street?
